ENLIGHTENED EMOTIONS TRAINING IN CHAING MAI

"Regardless of the self-image we project, most people are suffering. This suffering is a bi-product of identifying with the Ego, the Separate Self."

Over a 20 year search, Joe identified 3 practices that end suffering. Based on Eastern Wisdom, proven in Western sceinece, and substantiated in ancient and modern times, they are: embodiment, allowing, and inquiry. Joe is dedicated to help others master this 'art of happiness'—free from external circumstances—via the simplest possible practices that have stood the test of time.

He shares these techniques with those interested, both online and in person, through group sessions and one-on-one interactions. He is committed to guiding anyone on this journey who shows the required commitment and desire to know their true nature and find permanant freedom in this life.

"We can share the methods and practices, but the aspirant must cultivate the commitment within themselves, as that is the only part of awakening that cannot be taught."

THE THREE STAGES OF EMOTIONAL ENLIGHTENMENT

Emotions as Poisons

Initially, emotions are seen as harmful and destructive, like poisons. The method for dealing with them is to use antidotes. For example, patience can counteract aggression. This approach involves recognizing the negative impacts of emotions and preventing them from overwhelming us by applying specific remedies.

Emotions as Friends

In this stage, emotions are viewed as allies in personal development. They are not inherently negative but contain energy that can be transformed into positive patterns. For instance, anger can be redirected into patience. Emotions are seen as supportive, helping us cultivate virtues and deeper insights..

Emotions as Wisdom

Finally, emotions are recognized as enlightened wisdom. They are neither harmful nor merely supportive but are inherently wise and compassionate. This stage involves taking emotions directly as the path to wisdom, seeing their true nature without needing to change them. Emotions become a source of insight and clarity, integral to our spiritual journey.

THE THREE PRACTICES TO EMOTIONAL ENLIGHTENMENT

Embodiment

Embodiment is about being fully present and grounded in your body, embracing and deeply connecting with your current felt experience. It means inhabiting your body completely, acknowledging and feeling every sensation without resistance or judgment.

Allowing

Allowing is the process of welcoming all thoughts, emotions, and sensations that arise within your experience without trying to change, judge, or escape from them. It entails a non-resistant witness stance where everything is permitted to be exactly as it is.

Inquiry

Inquiry involves a deep investigation into the nature of your experiences and the essence of who you are beyond the conceptual self. We examine thoughts, emotions, and sensations, leading to insights into the nature of existence and the realization of one's true self.

May All Beings Be Happy

Joe's approach has not only helped me manage my emotions but has also empowered me to see them as pathways to deeper wisdom and clarity. This enabled me to perform at an open mic, something that terrified me. Familiar emotions were there but I could see I am greater than they are."

I experienced Mooji in Rishikesh and I also enjoy the work of Byron Katie, which is very different. I appreciated the teaching here a lot. From where it comes from, it reminds me of those two teachers I mentioned before. One of the reasons I stayed much longer was the teachings I found here

- Joseph K

" I realized that everything was perfect already—I was perfect already. Getting healthy doesn’t mean changing everything and everybody; it means accepting and loving who I am. Letting go of triggers and not getting attached in every stressful situation has been key to my journey towards health."
